Turning Points: Te Huringa
Harakeke class are a creative and energetic group of learners who work well together and are always keen to share their interesting and eclectic ideas and opinions.
During Term 2 we began our inquiry into Turning Points: Te Huringa. Students have identified a significant event, person or idea from history that interests them. Some of the fascinating topics chosen are Rosa Parks, the relevance of Te Tiriti O Waitiangi, Music through time and Darwin’s Theory of Evolution.
They’ve hit the ground running in Term 3 and are busy researching their questions, planning their artefacts and thinking about how they will present their work. We look forward to sharing our presentations with you in Week 3 at the Curriculum Evening.
